Mentoring Works2 is a community-based non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation established in June of 2006 in the District of Columbia. Our home office is located at 2828 Georgia Ave, N.W. Washington, DC and we have and plan to have a presence at schools and community centers throughout the city. Mentoring Works2 nurtures and supports local youth through our mentoring services. We carefully match our youth with well qualified mentors who provide guidance in areas of personal development ranging from education to health. Our staff of dedicated and qualified mentors are committed to the task of providing these much needed services to our youth and to our communities, but we can't do it alone. One of our biggest challenges is funding our programs. We have been operating over the past year with out-of-pocket funds provided by the founder and affiliates of the organization. In order to keep providing services and making a difference in the lives of our youth and the communities in which they live, contributions from concerned individuals like you are imperative.
